Join for a consistent Writing Habit

The perfect writing group whether you’re in the middle of the writing process, starting a new project or just trying to build a regular writing routine. Each two-hour write-in includes at least one full hour of focused writing time along with the opportunity to connect with a supportive community. I’ll offer an optional daily writing prompt, provide support, resources and any tools requested to make writing happen.

Procedures and Policies:

• You do not need to attend for the full two hours; you may come and go as you please.
• The first ten to fifteen minutes we’ll say our hellos and get settled in to write sharing intentions, goals, etc.; we’ll start writing no later than 9:15am. We’ll write for one full hour.
• Everybody should be muted during the writing time; your choice whether your camera is on or off.
• After the hour, we’ll check in and take a few minutes to discuss how the writing went. We’ll try to keep it brief so we can have time for a second shorter sprint, between 30-45 minutes.
• I have a zero-tolerance policy for confrontational, disruptive and/or disrespectful behavior of any kind; offenders will not be welcome back into any future workshop, write-ins, etc. I reserve the right to make all final judgements but encourage all participants to come to me with any concerns regarding behavior they feel is unacceptable or made them uncomfortable for any reason.
